No one can deny the fact that Davido is one of the most beloved Nigerian singers of all time. So when it came to celebrating his cousin’s 30th birthday, it was no surprise that he went out of his way to show his generosity.
On the 28th April 2023, Tunji ‘Tunegee’ Adeleke celebrated his 30th birthday and his beloved cousin Davido made sure to commemorate the special day in style. While Davido was in Dubai he took Tunegee out on a shopping spree and happily spent a whopping N16.1 million (equivalent to $35,000)! As usual, in typical Davido fashion, the DMW boss posted a photo of the receipt showing how much he had spent online.
This however was not the only surprise that Davido had for his cousin. He decided to take it one step further and decided to treat Tunegee to a brand new Rolex wristwatch. He posted a photo of the wristwatch still in its box and accompanied it with a caption where he spoke of his love for his cousin.
The post went viral. Fans and followers of Davido were truly moved by his generosity and it melted their hearts. It was a beautiful sight to witness the love between a cousin and his kin: Davido made us all value the family in our lives.
