Recently, Simi celebrated her 35th birthday, and a video of her widely went viral on the internet.
The video that sparked mixed reaction amongst Simi’s fans shows her having a great time, while dressed in a bikini outfit and enjoying drinks with friends at a swimming pool.
Taking to her Instagram page, she wrote:
“35 and fine. Happy birthday to the realest person I know. I type this tipsy as hell and surrounded by my most loved. If God don’t love me most, I don’t know who ?.”
The upbeat music playing in the background, along with her screaming and erratic movements, was evidence of just how much she was enjoying her special day. She goes as far as even jumping into the pool with another person’s help. The video stirred up arguments between Simi’s fans as some felt she had exposed too much skin as a married woman, while others argued that she may have been under the influence of alcohol.
But the biggest debate that followed the video was about the identity of the man who was touching her during the video. Many felt it was her husband, Adekunle Gold, but others argued otherwise.
