The Vivint Smart Home Arena, located in Utah, was the setting for a remarkable night of music entertainment recently. Top Nigerian singers, Burna Boy, Tems, and Rema, all showed their incredible talent to the star-studded and ecstatic audience in attendance.
Burna Boy, the Grammy winning singer opened the night with his energetic performance of a few of his hits, such as ‘It’s Plenty’, ‘Last Last’ and ‘Anybody’.
Tems followed up with her own set, topping it off with a performance of her Grammy nominated song, ‘Wait for you’, which features Future and Drake.
Rema brought down the energy in the Arena with his hit record, ‘Calm Down’, with a special guest, Selena Gomez, for the remix.
The enthusiastic audience were on their feet the entire night, singing along to all the songs performed. Burna Boy’s energy was particularly riveting and captivating, as he danced and jumped his way in and out of the crowd. It was especially evident when he performed his Folklore-inspired, ‘Bank on It’, which generated a wave of excitement and joy in the arena.
The night was all about showcasing the talent and vibrancy of Nigerian music and the singers present certainly did not disappoint. Tems and Rema especially, presented their A-games as they both commanded the stage. The audience sang along to every song of each of them, proving their vast popularity.
