Unfortunately, after the long wait and anticipation the 2023 Grammy Awards held on Sunday night at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, U.S. came with some surprises as the self acclaimed African Giant, Burna Boy failed to win.

Burna boy lost two awards at the ceremony, one to South Africa’s Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini & Nomcebo Zikode, who beat Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’ to claim the award for the Best Global Music performance.

His album, “Love Damini” lost the best Global Music Album award to Japan’s Masa Takumi.

On account of being nominated burna boy took to his instagram story a post to display his excitement for bagging two grammy nominations with two rockets icons and a cup in between them while displaying a show of joyfulness with family.

Burna boy has been a beast running through the year 2022 and it has been quite clear through his back to back hit songs. But getting towards the end of 2022 the beastly part of him seems to have been tamed as new beasts seems to surface and now, his loss on GRAMMY which he even tagged named himself as; BURNABOYGRAM

It is no surprise though, in some point, even a king has to step down for a new king to get on the throne and this might just be the rise of a new king. The question is, would burna boy be willing to leave the throne. The truth is that, it is really out of his control as this game of thrones has a wide involvement of the audience acceptance; of which Burna Boy has lost. 

The Grammy awards is without doubt a good thing but many claimed it is what has turned Burna Boy into such a Prideful person filled with disrespects. 

Burna boy has been tagged with many altercations with fellow industry mates including likes of Davido. 

From 2021 there has been tension between Davido and Burna Boy, which has resulted in a series of beef and feud between the two. Davido and Burna has even clashed and exchanged blows in a Ghanaian club. Many believe that Davido's FEM was a message to haters and in particular targetting Burna Boy. 

Burna, a Self-acclaimed African Giant has lost his right footage in the industry (Grammy) after failing to take home Grammy though being nominated in two categories. Originally, Burna Boy gained his worldwide recognition after winning the Grammy back in 2022, so winning another was what His fan were looking and hoping for. Therefore, losing out on this is not just a blow to Burna but to his Career and Fans.

On the other hand while it seems like Odogwu is losing out on his Charms, other stars are seen to glowing even brighter.

It is a happy thing to some fans but to the Burna Boy fannatics, this is a huge dissspointmnet.
